Man i love to pack

Cannot wait to get on that plane next week and get to Sydney. Dont even mind the early morning wake up call, its all so worth it.

I do have a serious love for airports, especially since majority of the time we travel for excitement and a holiday.

It is also a fantastic place to people watch. As long as i have my early morning coffee, breakfast and magazines then i will be a happy girl.

Raindrops are falling on my head....

Its been the most insane week of full on rain, the only break in the day came yesterday briefly and i at least managed to squeeze in a quick run.

That being said i do love the rain, it is just so distracting at work sitting and watching them fall outside. Especially at night. I miss living in our house in Sydney as the sound of the rain used to lullaby me straight to sleep. Its amazing how it has the power to relax and calm me.

This is what winter is about isnt it.

Even more excuses for hot drinks inside and lazing the days away.

Enjoy the rest of your week. Least tomorrow is my fave day... TGIF :)

Thank you for the music

I cannot understand how anyone can get through their day without some form of music. I have always listened to music even as a little kid and my first music player was a good old Sony Discman. It was probably my fave item that i owned growing up. I constantly took it everywhere i went, listened to it in the car on road trips and the train ride to school.

I am constantly updating and finding new music to suit my every mood and i think currently i have 18 playlists ranging from music that gets me out of bed in the morning to music that motivates and pushes me when i am out running.

It is such an important part of my day.

Some of my go to songs at the moment are:

1. Flo rida - Let It Roll
2. Florence and the Machine  - Spectrum (Calvin Harris remix)
3. Ellie Goulding - Lights
4. Kimbra - Warrior
5. Madonna - Girl Gone Wild

Where would we possibly be without music?

Obsessed with Pinterest

I know that Pinterest is not exactly a new development. I think ive had my collection of boards for well over 6 months and my gosh i am OBSESSED.

I have always enjoyed keeping all my inspirations in one place, even have a few scrapbooks filled with fashion, food and lifestyle inspirations that i have found from various magazines.

I often find myself briefly going on here to look at what is new and suddenly a few hours have past. Always a sign of an addiction. There is always someone or something worth spotting. And i have even made a couple of the wonderful recipes that i have discovered as a result.

Do you have anyone you think is worth following?

Make sure u all check me out HERE

Travel Inspiration

Have finally had my work leave approved for our girlie weekend to Sydney in August and i cannot wait, will be over 2 years since i was last there and spending my teenage years there i do miss all the little things that make it such a wonderful place.

Am very excited i can finally take my girlfriends there and show them all my fave spots and attractions. Basically get to be a tourist all over again.

I have selected a few places that are at the top of my list

1. Sydney Opera House/Harbour Bridge/Circular Quay

The classic Sydney icon's all in one place is just a must see. So many characters and fantastic architecture to gaze upon. My family and i did the Sydney Bridge Climb a few years ago and it is basically the best way to take in the stunning views of the city.

2. Ferry over to Manly

Manly has to be one of my fave beaches in Sydney, although being an ex local it can still be quite to crowded and touristy for my liking. However it has a great selection of shops and cafes that give it a laidback vibe perfect for hot summer evenings.

3. Pitt Street Mall and QVB

The QVB is one of the most amazing looking buildings right in the centre of the city next to Town Hall station and it should be on anyways must do lists when travelling to Sydney.

I have spent so many minutes and hours day dreaming about where i will go and who i will see when i get back. Feel a bit nostalgic and still wish we called Australia home. Was always so wonderful to be able to escape during my university holidays, chill and re load the batteries.

Although who am i to complain New Zealand will always be my home and it is such a stunning place to live.

Hope you all enjoy your week.
